Quiet Mountain Sanctuary is situated in the Catskill State Park-- in the bucolic hamlet of Kerhonkson, (Ulster County) NY. Our location provides you with direct access to thousands of acres of wilderness right from our property. Below is a Google map that will, among other things, show you exactly where we are. • Take I-87 New York State Thruway. Take exit 18 New Paltz/Poughkeepsie
• Turn left at Main St/RT-299 W Continue to follow RT-299 through town of New Paltz Go 7.4 mi
• Turn right at RT-44/55 Go 9.4 mi
• Turn right at US-209 Go 1.6 mi
• Turn left at CR-3/Samsonville Rd Go 1.3 mi
• Turn left at Cherrytown Rd Go 3.5 mi
• Turn left at Baker Rd Go 0.7 mi
• Baker Road will be the last turn. Go to the end of Baker Rd. When Baker Rd. ends it forks (and becomes Stiller berg Strada). Bear LEFT at the fork and go straight up the road (it is the unpaved road). Go 1 mile up the dirt road. We are almost at the top--on the RIGHT side--#190. There is a "Quiet Mountain Sanctuary" sign and the number "190" on a tree in our driveway. You will know that you have gone too far if you see a sign that says "QUIET SUMMIT". This becomes private property. If you see the sign turn around, head back down the hill and we will be the first house on the left. You can see the house from the road.
